The highly anticipated 2023 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Ordinary Level results have been officially announced.
Candidates and their families can now access the results on the ZIMSEC portal starting from 1500hrs today.
A total of 270 129 candidates sat for the November 2023 examinations as compared to 278 760 candidates who sat for the same examinations in 2022. The candidature decreased by 8 631, translating to a percentage decrease of 3.1.
The ZIMSEC Board Chairperson, Eddy Mwenje, revealed that the overall pass rate for the 2023 examinations stands at 29.41%.
However, the examination board has warned the 2023 Ordinary Level examination candidates against logging into the portal before 3PM as it may result in their account halted by the system.
“The results portal will be available at 1500HRS. Please DO NOT try and log into the portal before that time, as you risk having your account halted by the system,” said ZIMSEC on its social media platforms.
ZIMSEC Ordinary level results have been released. The 2023 candidates achieved an overall pass rate of 29.41%. The results portal will be open at 1500hrs through zimsec.co.zw. To access the correct results database click on the province where your school is located
