Gweru based Football behemoths, Sheasham Football Club, have been hit with a hefty fine of $1,500 by the league’s disciplinary committee for failing to show up, for a match against CAPS United.

The Construction boys did not travel to Zvishavane, where their week 10 match was scheduled to take place, and instead protested against the PSL’s decision to ban their home ground, Bata Stadium.

This decision proved costly for the team, who have now been given two weeks to settle the fine. While the news is not great for Sheasham, Caps United have benefited from the forfeited match with an important set of points that have improved their ranking.
